Rachel Fay, RP(Q)

Rachel is beginning her internship in January 2024 as part of completing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She holds a degree in Child Development and has worked with children, families and youth in various settings. The experiences and observations she has gained in the field for the past 13 years have inspired her to support parents, families, children, youth, couples and individuals as they learn to adapt to many of life’s challenges. She believes early childhood experiences are crucial in shaping personality, perspective, and how we react to stressful events and influence adult relationships. Rachel’s theoretical practice stems from a strengths-based approach, incorporating Gestalt, Attachment Theory and Narrative Therapy. In addition to evidence-based practices, she includes mindfulness and physical activity in her treatment. To further her scope of practice, Rachel is enrolled in certificate programs for managing ADHD and helping individuals in narcissistic relationships.

Whether you are feeling anxious or depressed, have low self-esteem, want to explore your childhood trauma or want someone to talk to, Rachel offers a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where you can share, explore and feel empowered.
